All last night I was troubled with strange dreams some might consider them nightmares but they were too out there to be anything real. Just weird enough to keep making me wake up and have to shift around to get comfortable again and then try I'd drop off again only to repeat it. Luckily none of the dreams were reliving my own real nightmare so they didn't even get my heart beating fast just woke me up. I remember in one I was yelling at someone while they ignored me. Silly stuff like that.

Spent today volunteering at church where it was very quiet but wicked cold since the air conditioner was running wide open. Then home to grab my sister before hitting Walmart for a weeks groceries Dang that hurt the pocketbook! But it had to be done.

Tomorrow got to take Bubba to his doctor for a checkup but he's usually cool about it if not I'll try to bribe him. lol Yes I'm that low! Then back home where hopefully we can get the kitchen cabinets and walls washed down to get them ready to be painted.
Got to get the work done cause I get to RP this weekend with my friends and I ain't missing that!

Had so much fun yesterday afternoon and evening RP with my friends. It was such a fun and relaxing way to spend the day that I just didn't want to stop. Thankfully Rat kept up with the time as I have to stop near 9pm in order to get ready for church on Sunday morning. But the game was going so dang good we had a battle with Gangrels just a few hours away then off to fight a mage. Dang it will be 2 weeks before can play again if everyone can do it then. Now let me ask you this? Who would figure knowing the weird combination to turn salt peter into gun powder would come in handy! lol

A friend has sent me the secret recipe of a local hot dog emporium that he found after his wife passed. She had been best friends with their cook in years past. So now I just got to try it out was looking it over again to make sure I had the ingredients and I need a 12oz beer. Knowing how old the recipe is I'm sure it was probably an older brand they used and not light so will start off with a Budweiser and if the taste is wrong will move on until I get it right. Rat it's Weavers chili as you'll know it.

Was at Wednesday night services last night and the sermon was a good one about sharing the message and not being afraid. Afterward we were having carnival food night so I was manning the popcorn machine/booth as well as the corn dogs and my sister and a friend were doing the Cotton candy spinning. All was going well until another friend came up and whispered to me you need to make your sister go to Urgent Care she's been hurt. I look over and sure enough she's not at the cotton candy machine so I get ahead on my orders and go looking for here she's standing out of sight with a towel wrapped around her right hand. One of the ministers came in with an icepack for her and I could see 2-3 puncture wounds as well as a dark swollen knuckle. Turns out just as she was spinning a cone the engine covering came loose and hit her hand she kept saying it's not hurting which to me means shock and upcoming pain. So I finally got her and the kids into the car and went to urgent care but the one we usually use was full up so went to a new one nearby and they were able to x-ray it and splinted her after cleaning it up. By then the pain was very active. lucky the results came back severely bruised but not broken. It didn't help that it really flared up her arthritis on top of the injury. But she's okay and we realized today that it was more of the outer rubber part that hit her because if the metal part had she'd have lost fingers completely. God is so good to us.

Well it's been a couple of long days but yard sale is done for now. We made about $500 dollars but we didn't have anything big like furniture to sell so that was great. Had several folks ask us to do it again next weekend as they want to bring some folks with them that need some of the stuff we have. Go figure but since we only got about 1/2 way through the closets and cabinets we wanted to clear out it's not a horrible ideal. Just hope it's a site cooler, please.
Now I'm relaxing watching Nat Geo's shark shows, yep I like mindless fun. lol

It's been a bit quiet around here today which I was in the mood for truthfully. Got a bit of work done as well as some baking and them worked on cleaning out the garage. Dang spiders were everywhere and I tried sweeping them out but the suckers just kept coming. Finally my sister said enough and got some spray to kill them and keep them out. I'm allergic to even a common household spider bite and have been to the ER 3 times in the past from bites so I guess I was dancing about like a crazy woman wanting to keep them off me even as I tried to sweep them away. It did seem to help though as they left and I was able to finish sweeping and throwing out junk. So tomorrow holds a trip to the recycle center at some point. But also got volunteering at my church office then a bit of cooking as we're having a tailgate potluck at church Wednesday evening. They are grilling hamburgers and hotdogs and want us to bring the rest. I think baked beans is a good choice for me, easy to fix in a short time and easy to carry to the church. Plus I don't eat them so win win for me. lol

Well the church pastors are grilling burgers and dogs outside but the rest can be set up on a table or back of you vehicle learning that I opted for a huge case of variety of chips. lol
